Heather’s love for movement and health started at an early age through dance, gymnastics and the great outdoors. While going to college and working as a dance and fitness instructor, she was introduced to Pilates in 2003. Impressed by the intelligent philosophy and feel of the practice, she decided to get my comprehensive Pilates training through an extensive apprenticeship in Los Angeles, Ca. she then went on to become a PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) certified instructor in 2008.
With over a decade of teaching, her education and experience has led to the confidence of working with all types of clients including pre/postnatal, chronic pain management, athletic performance and conditioning, and addressing various forms of rehabilitation. She has had the pleasure of working with and studying from several highly recognized Pilates training modalities including PhysicalMind Institute, BASI (Body Arts and Science International), Pilates Technique, Balance Body and Club Pilates.
Before opening her own studio, Heather had been involved in every aspect of the Pilates industry, from studio management to hosting teacher training programs and continual education workshops. Heather is passionate in sharing her knowledge with colleagues and clients in gaining a greater understanding of their bodies through movement. There is no greater thing then to watch people discover and achieve the results they’ve been struggling to find.
